I am a linguist specialized in child language acquisition. I studied at Bogazici University and received a BA degree in English Language and Literature (1996) and an MA degree in Linguistics (1999). I received my PhD in Linguistics at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, U.S.A. I taught various courses on Turkish language and culture, linguistics and psychology at Yale University, Bogazici University and Istanbul Bilgi University. I am now an assistant professor in Linguistics at Istanbul Bilgi University.
